Alas, we still keep hearing about the Republican Party, which has sold itself to teabaggers. It says something when you feel nostalgic for the Nixon era.

Ummm, not nostalgic for the Nixon era. But perhaps a bit of nostalgia for the Eisenhower era. If Ike were alive today, I suspect he might vote Democratic. And he no doubt has had time to rue his choice of a running mate.
